  • DATS is a specialized transportation service separate from the City's regular transit services. Detailed Fare information regarding DATS.
  • The 2012 fare increases applies to all February 2012 fare products, regardless of the date of purchase. Unexpired tickets purchased before February 1, 2012 are valid as full fare payment.
  • * Low Income Senior Annual Pass
  • ** Ticket strip Tickets must be validated using the bright orange ticket validation machines prior to entering the proof of payment areas.

CNIB Customers

  • For customers who are visually impaired and who possess a CNIB ID card, ETS service on buses and the LRT is free.   Use of a white cane or service animal alone does not qualify an individual for this fare service - the CNIB card must be shown to the bus operator upon boarding.

UofA Staff ONEcard (ADMIN-Pass)

  • The University of Alberta Staff carry a ONEcard, which is valid for the LRT use only between South Campus and Churchill Station ONLY.  This pass allows travel between the University campuses only and is not valid for bus service. This pass does not require a sticker, and must be clearly marked "Staff" on the front to be valid.

    Convention Transit Pass

    • The Convention Transit Pass is just the ticket for savings and unlimited rides on Light Rail Transit (LRT) and buses for your convention, exhibition, seminar or meeting.

    Courtesy Ticket Exchange Program

    • Customers with unused ETS tickets (individual tickets and full ticket strips) and unused day passes may exchange them, once they have expired, at the ETS Customer Service Centre, located on the concourse level of Churchill LRT Station. They can be exchanged until the end of January of the following year.

    Smartcard

    • The Smartcard project is currently unfunded. However, this submission may be reviewed by City Council with the 2012 budget.

Use of Yellow School Bus Pass on ETS
Edmonton Transit also permits limited use of the Yellow School Bus Pass on our system. Each Yellow Bus Pass holder is allowed six (6) trips per month on regular transit service for travel prior to 8pm. The Yellow Bus Pass must be punched by an Operator at the location marked on the pass, which is considered payment of one student fare. The student should receive a valid transfer for 90 minutes of travel; this is permitted for the pass holder only.
